Kuala Lumpur, 6 December 2022 – iPay88 refers to the news article dated 5.12.2022 accessible via Oriental Daily, where it was reported, amongst others, that an online customer was asked by an “unknown party” to download and/or use an alleged “iPay88 app” for the purpose of making payment for a purchase.
iPay88 has never authorized and will not at any time request any user to download or use of any application to facilitate any transfer of monies. Any unauthorized use of iPay88’s name and/or goodwill and/or any attempt to facilitate any fraudulent transactions or to perpetrate scams is strongly condemned and is viewed very seriously by iPay88.
Please take note that there is only one application authorized for use by iPay88. The sole application authorized by iPay88 is iPay88 DirectPay. iPay88 DirectPay can only be downloaded via Google Play Store for Android users and Apple App Store for Apple users. iPay88 DirectPay can only be used by authorized retail merchants, not by customers, to complete transactions.
In this regard, iPay88 is ready and willing to provide information and assistance to the relevant authorities and stakeholders as necessary.

本公司在此声明从未授权，也从未要求任何个人用户下载或使用任何不知来源的手机应用程序来进行支付或转账。我们严肃看待任何未经授权使用 iPay88 的名称/商誉/任何企图欺诈交易或实施诈骗的行为。
iPay88 目前只有一个官方应用程序 名为– DirectPay App。iPay88 DirectPay App只授权于实体店面商家（Retail Shop）唯在亲自面向其客户时才能交易收款, 该手机应用程序不适用于个人客户， 并且完全不能用于远程网上支付。
该iPay88官方手机应用程序只能通过 谷歌 Play Store 为 安卓手机或 Apple App Store为苹果手机下载。
