Cybersecurity Intern

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring and conduct in-depth analysis of security systems and networks to promptly identify and respond to any potential breaches or unauthorised access attempts, ensuring the utmost protection of sensitive data and information.
• Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and analysis of threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to the business.
• Assist to enhance and manage cybersecurity programs, including technology controls, data protection, threat management, incident response, and develop proactive systems against cyber criminals.
• Assist to investigate security incidents, meticulously identifying their root cause, and adeptly formulating robust action plans to prevent any recurrence of such incidents, reinforcing the organization’s resilience against potential threats.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, ComputerScience, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards (e.g. BNMRisk Management, PCI DSS, NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls and vulnerability scanners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address security threats and vulnerabilities effectively.
